Two New Reviews for “When I Remember Love”

When I Remember Love received two new professional reviews.better-book-cover
You can read the reviews on my site under Book Reviews or go
right to the sources, Manic Readers and Romance Junkies.  Here is a taste:

Trish Silver provides a wonderful take on what life for a contestant
on a reality television show is like after the last performance. She gives a
remarkable view of the world beyond and how a star is born. The original
music that was made for the novel only adds to the magical ambiance that
Ms. Silver so marvelously crafts. This is a story for anyone who has ever
been in love or ever dreamed of finding the special person meant for them.

If any of you have exciting news like this, please comment here and let us all know.

Authors Who Help New Authors

The most difficult part of  being a new author is getting readers to find and read your book.  There are authors online who
make it their business to help other authors get their work known.  I have decided to honor these special people on my web site
and my blog.   These  fine men and women provide wonderful services to us at no cost.  I have learned a lot from them, and I know
you will too.  You can find the full discussion about them on this  page of my web site, Authors Who Help.

The authors that I have honored  today are:

vinceVincent Lowry, an author who has provided numerous ways  to to share our books from book videos to author interviews to name a
couple.author-pic-2-copy

Todd A. Fonseca, an author who has made the art of tagging on Amazon a necessary skill for all authors.  He has found a way to get our books tagged with help from us all.

camorganCheryl Morgan, an author who has provided a group for new authors on Facebook.  Through this group she has provided numerous services to us.

Please read about them on the Authors Who Help page on my web site.  You will find an abundance of information that you should know as an aspiring or a veteran author.  Also if you know an author that should be added to this list, please email me at trish@trishsilver.com with information about him or her.

Calling All New Authors

Are you having trouble getting your name and book known?  I have decided to help new
authors like myself, by adding a spotlight page to my website where I spotlight five new authors
per month.  There is no cost but you do have to put a link to my web site on your web site.  This is
good   for me and good for you.  It is called back- linking and it is a good search engine optimization
strategy.  If you are not picked for one month, I will keep your entry alive for six months and add  your link to
a new author’s link page.  This will  be permanent as long as my link remains on your web site.
Spotlighted new authors will also get your spotlight information piped into many social networks through a feed.
I hope you will take advantage of my offer.  If you are interested, go to  http://www.whenirememberlove.com/new-authors.html
for details.  Be sure to follow the directions carefully.

If you don’t  have a web site or a blog, contact me at trish@trishsilver.com for information.

I Have Help from the Best

Janis your blog blew me away, because it’s so true. I forgot many of the incidents that brought us together when we were so young and naïve. I liked that world and would love to revisit it in a time travel…Someday!

By the way, thank you Glenn Brandon Burke, for leaving a comment. I woke my husband up telling him that someone likes my blogs. “I’m sleeping; maybe we can discuss it tomorrow?” Ed shouted at me.

“You’re no fun,” I screamed back as I left the bedroom, slamming the door behind me. Immediately, I went back to my computer and read the comment over one –hundred times. I thought to myself, somebody commented…he likes me (I sound like Sally Fields accepting her Oscar)…he really likes me!

Thank you again, Glenn Brandon Burke, who’s America’s #1 Motivational COLLEGE Speaker on Student Retention and Student Success! Contact Glenn at: http://www.glennbrandonburke.com/ if you would like to learn how to use your voice and speak like a professional. He’s the BEST!
Now that I received my first comment, and I’m stoked, I’m going to give you some tips on how to promote your first novel:

1. Have a spectacular business card designed…use Overnight Prints for quality.
2. Make sure your manuscript is edited by a great editor. It’s so important that you have a clean manuscript.
I used Mike Valentino…you can Google him. He’s a very nice and patient man. He had to be tolerant to work with me!
3. Hire an Internet Marketing Coach that knows how to sell books and is successful. I use Mick Moore http://www.killergraffix.com/
4. When you don’t understand Internet technologies hire an assistant that you can trust and is an Internet specialist. My assistant is Janis Friesler http://www.janisfrieslerconsulting.com
5. Have a unique BLOG (and don’t steal mine)!
6. Have your Web site ready before your novel is completed and optimized. Janis can do this for you and she’s an expert in flash.
7. Promote yourself everywhere. Be proud you’re are a writer.

Remember, 5% is writing your first masterpiece and 95% is the promotion of your work. Promoting your novel is the “Key.” Promotion is grueling and time consuming, but if you want success bad enough it WILL HAPPEN. Please read “The Secret,” for inspiration and motivation.

Hope you had a great Labor Day weekend.

Stay tuned and please comment.

Trish
