Rosalie “Rose” Johnson Wright, 63, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday July 16, 2024 at her residence.
Born November 18, 1960 in Bloomington the daughter of Robert Dale and Clara D. (Dresden) Johnson.
Rose worked at the Employment office in Bloomington as an Employment Specialist for the State of Indiana, she loved painting, artistry and her pets.
Surviving relatives include her husband Vincent Edward Wright, one sister, Marcella Johnson, a sister-in-law, Dawn (Kevin) Adams, two God sons, Matthew and Samuel Jewell, long time friends, Deanna Jewell, Kay Abram, Sandy Hawkins, Theresa Nevill and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday July 20, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Paul Myer officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery.
The family wishes any memorial donations in Rose’s name be given to WildCare Inc., 198 N. Hartstrait Road, Bloomington, IN. 47403.
