Loaded fries at Sidelines Bar & Grill, Fairfield
Located on Route 46 East in Fairfield, Sidelines is described on its website as North Jersey's premier country music venue. It is a woman-owned sports bar and restaurant that serves traditional pub fare from wings to sandwiches and of course burgers accompanied by a wide selection of beer. Every Friday night there is live music.

Sidelines Bar & Grill has six loaded fry options on the menu, each one smothered in cheese, sauces, toppings, and seasonings.
"We have one type of fry, the Lamb Weston straight cut fry, but we have so many varieties of fries," said owner Alexandra DiIorio. "When I first opened everyone told me not to put that on my menu and that it was stupid but now they are like our best-selling items."

Fries on the menu at Sidelines in Fairfield
Disco Fries: A classic New Jersey staple featuring mozzarella cheese and gravy.
Loaded fries. This platter is made of a pile of fries covered in American cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapenos, scallions and sour cream.
Truffle fries: This option comes with garlic and parmesan.
Taco fries: The most popular fries on the menu, these are topped with beef, diced tomato, cheddar jack cheese and Russian dressing drizzle.
Southwest fries: Pepper jack cheese, jalapenos and sidelines sauce.
Sweet potato fries: These are seasoned with a Cajun spice.
In honor of this competition, Sidelines is serving a limited time sweet potato fry platter topped with melted mozzarella cheese, crumbled bacon, scallions, and hot honey. Try them out before it's too late!
"I just love french fries, I think of them all the time ... I love winning, and I love how my customers get so excited for these competitions," DiIorio said. "These contests are fun because every day gets so boring. It's the same thing every day so as soon as there is a competition everybody gets so involved in it. It's fun!"
