Lobster dishes are rolling into Indiana with food truck pop-ups this month.

Cousins Maine Lobster is bringing its wild-caught Maine lobster rolls, lobster tacos and tots to Indianapolis and Madison, Indiana, July 26-29.

The visits are part of a summer tour across the Midwest and Southeast to build local consumer awareness. The company is looking to expand its food truck and restaurant operations in Indiana via franchises in the Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Gary areas.

A pair of cousins founded the Glendale, California-based company in 2012, then went on the TV pitch series “Shark Tank” and scored an investment from Barbara Corcoran.

Cousins has more than 50 operations across the country; and will launch franchises in Evansville, Indiana; and Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky, in September.
