Sisley informed the Heritage Hills coaches on Monday and posted the following on social media:

"I would like to thank the Heritage Hills community as well as all of my coaches and teammates. I will be forever grateful for my time spent as a Patriot. With that being said I will be transferring to Montverde Academy for my senior year."

The rising senior was one of the top recruits from the Evansville area in the past 15 years. Sisley is ranked 74th nationally according to the 247Sports composite. The last players ranked higher from SW Indiana were Cody Zeller (Washington), Jaquan Lyle (Bosse) and Khristian Lander (Reitz).

Sisley climbed the record books at Heritage Hills in only three years. He finished first all-time with 1,715 career points in addition to program records in field goals (665), rebounds (751) and free throws (305). The 6-8 forward averaged 24.2 points, 11.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.2 blocks as a junior.

Sisley was named the Courier & Press All-Southwestern Indiana Player of the Year twice. He was not available for further comment on Monday.

"We're extremely happy for Trent," said Heritage Hills coach Nate Hawkins. "Obviously, we would love to have him at Heritage Hills. We also understand he feels like he is making the best decision for himself and his future. This was not an easy decision. He loves Heritage Hills, his teammates and his coaches. At the end of the day, he was looking to his future and his dreams in being able to play right away (in college). He feels this probably gives him the best opportunity to do that. He was very torn."
